What you do in a play session

In Mushroom Ale, you are a dwarf farmer cultivating underground mushrooms to produce a legendary beer. The game is a solitaire roll-and-write where you manage an 8x8 grid mushroom farm. Each turn, you choose a row or column, roll seven dice, and decide how to use the results to till, plant, and harvest mushrooms. But that's not all: you also need to manage the fermentation and aging of the beer in adjacent casks.
