About the game
Get ready for a spooky adventure in My Haunted Castle, a super simple and fun memory game, perfect for kids who love a good mystery! Here, the mission is to help the scary residents of a haunted castle find their shadows. The board displays 21 pre-printed images of seven different types of creepy creatures. Twenty of these images are hidden under face-down tiles, which have been randomly scattered. On each turn, you flip one tile and try to match it with the only image on the board that isn't yet covered. If it's a match, congrats! You place the tile over the corresponding image, revealing a new image to be matched. But if the tile doesn't match, it's moved to a new spot on the board, making the challenge even more interesting and requiring a bit more memory for future turns. The game continues until all tiles have found their shadows, and the winner is the player who makes the most matches. Nordic editions of the game even add an extra twist of mystery: there are 21 monster tiles instead of 20, but one is secretly removed at the start. During the game, one player gets a chance to guess who the 'mystery monster' is, gaining or losing points at the end, depending on their guess. It's a game that tests your concentration and memory, but with an equal chance for all ghost hunters!
