Ever imagined a world where cute animals compete to be the most prestigious in the land? Welcome to the Kingdom of Pomme! In My Little Scythe, you take control of two adventurous animal miniatures on a frantic race to collect trophies. The goal is straightforward: be the first to earn 4 trophies from 8 possible categories to claim victory. But don't think it's just a stroll in the park; winning requires strategy and a bit of cunning.
On each turn, you choose between three main actions: Move, Seek, or Make. Want to strengthen your friendships? Collect delicious apples? Or perhaps learn powerful magic spells and complete epic quests? All these choices help power up your abilities and allow you to deliver gems and fruit to Castle Everfree. And if things get tense, be ready: pie fights can break out, adding that pinch of conflict that makes every match exciting.
The game draws inspiration from the acclaimed Scythe, but with a much lighter and more accessible feel, making it the perfect gateway for those who want to experience area control and resource management without the overwhelming complexity of heavy 'euro' games. Interestingly, My Little Scythe was born from community passion; it started as a fan-created 'print-and-play' project, was so well-received that it won BGG awards, and was eventually officially adopted by Stonemaier Games. It's proof that great ideas can come from anywhere, turning into a competitive, colorful, and charismatic family game, ideal for those seeking strategic fun without sacrificing cuteness.
