What you do in a play session
Get ready to unravel a mystery in "Mystery Tricks," a cooperative game where communication is key, but not exactly how you might think! Here, the gang plays together to figure out who the suspect is, what the crime was, which monster is on the loose, and who the main detective is. The twist is that your cards are kept face down, and you only know their suit. During the trick-taking rounds, you need to piece things together, trying to deduce the cards of others and your own. The goal is that, at the end of each round, every player has one card of each type (suspect, crime, monster, detective) in their hand. If they achieve this feat, they get a chance to guess the cards that are hidden. If everyone guesses their own card correctly, victory is yours! It's a quick game, with rounds lasting 15 to 30 minutes, ideal for 3 to 5 players who enjoy a team deduction challenge without too much complexity.
