Nations: Dynasties arrives as the first major expansion for the acclaimed Nations, adding twelve brand‑new nations each with its own dynasty, plus extra dynasties for the base‑game factions. The biggest shake‑ups are two new concepts: Turmoil, which makes Stability more volatile, and Natural Wonders, powerful cards that force tough choices and open fresh interaction paths. On top of that, the Progress deck has been upgraded with more advanced, strategic cards, dramatically boosting replay value. The expansion also refines Open Drafting, letting everyone see and pick from a shared pool, and reinforces Variable Player Powers, preserving the asymmetry that defines Nations. Because it targets players already comfortable with the Expert cards of the base game, Dynasties assumes a solid grasp of the rules, but rewards that knowledge with deeper, more consequential decisions.
