Nations: Nicola Tesla promo card

Get ready to supercharge your civilization in 'Nations' with this Nikola Tesla promo card! Available through special events and the BoardGameGeek store, this little extra brings a scientific icon to your game. It integrates with the fourth era cards, adding an extra layer of strategy and a touch of 'mad science' to your playthrough. Tesla's card offers a boost to military strength, but be warned: it requires an extra investment of funds to activate its power. You'll roll a die to determine if the expenditure is worth it, adding an element of chance to the decision. It's important to note that, being a promotional card with English text, there might be a moderate language dependency. Having a translated reference sheet or translated cards handy is recommended to ensure all players understand the nuances and costs associated with using Tesla. This card is ideal for those who already enjoy 'Nations' and are looking for new ways to optimize their civilization, especially if you like exploring synergies with historical figures and a dash of unpredictability. It doesn't drastically alter the game, but it offers an interesting tactical option for those seeking that extra military advantage or simply wanting the genius of electricity at their table.
