Steady your hands, because Nekojima is about to test your nerves! Imagine you're on a charming Japanese island, trying to bring electricity to every corner of the region. Sounds simple, right? Wrong! The problem is that the territory is cramped and the local population consists of extremely curious cats who love strolling right on top of the power lines.
In this pure dexterity game, you and your friends take on the role of electrical pole installers (the famous Denchuu). The goal is to stack these wooden pieces strategically, without letting the hanging cables touch or the entire structure collapse. It's a game of constant tension where motor coordination is your best friend and bad luck is your worst enemy.
Nekojima offers two ways to play that completely change the table vibe. If you want to see who the master of balance is, you can go with the competitive mode: whoever knocks down the structure loses the game. Now, if the idea is to join forces against the chaos, the cooperative mode is the way to go, where everyone works together to see how far the electrical grid can reach without collapsing.
With high-quality wooden components and an adorable theme, it's perfect for those looking for a quick (about 20 minutes) and adrenaline-filled session. It's the kind of game you pull out of the box and, within minutes, everyone is holding their breath while someone tries to place the final piece. If you enjoy games that mix physical skill with a cute Japanese theme, Nekojima is guaranteed fun!
