Nemesis: Carnomorphs — Prices

Who knew a single cat could cause so much chaos? In Nemesis: Carnomorphs, the tragedy starts with a banal accident that releases a devastating parasitic virus. This genetic anomaly begins rewriting the ship's biomass, transforming everything—including the cat's remains and the crew in stasis—into starving abominations. Now, you and your crewmates must survive a biological nightmare where death isn't the end, but rather the fuel for the monsters' evolution.

The big game-changer here is the enemy evolution dynamic. Forget the standard combat from the core box; now you're dealing with Larvae (Metagorgers) that, if not eliminated quickly, escape and evolve into Shamblers. If you leave corpses scattered across the ship, these Shamblers will feast to become Fleshbeasts—monstrous creatures stronger than the Queen herself. There's even the Butcher, an alpha predator that emerges when one monster devours another.

This completely shifts the strategy: running away is no longer the best option. You'll be forced to be proactive, hunting creatures and, most importantly, burning corpses to prevent the ship's ecosystem from becoming uncontrollable. But be careful, as overusing the flamethrower can destroy vital parts of the ship. Additionally, the new Mutation cards bring cinematic effects, swapping some of your abilities for permanent buffs or debuffs.

Prepare for constant pressure. The game stops being just about completing your secret objective and becomes a desperate struggle to prevent the ship from turning into a nest of deformed flesh. It's pure survival, where every decision about who to save or which corpse to burn could be the difference between escaping or becoming protein for the next Carnomorph.
