In Nessos, you embody Greek heroes tasked with imprisoning mythological creatures in sacred amphoras to offer them to the gods of Olympus. Accumulate enough points from these captures, and you'll be crowned the Chosen One! But beware, the fearsome Charon lurks, always ready to send you on a one-way trip to the Underworld. The game is a race to be the first to reach the required score, but with a twist: collect three Charon cards, and you're out of the round.
Each round begins with players receiving five cards. The starting player chooses a card from their hand and offers it face down to another player. If it's a creature card, its value must be stated honestly. If it's a Charon card, bluffing is allowed – you can say any number! The player receiving the offer has three choices: accept the card without looking (and place it face up in front of them), refuse the card (which returns to the offerer, who places it face up in front of them), or add a card from their own hand, face down, and pass both cards to a third player. In this last case, bluffing about Charon remains valid. The one who receives the two cards has the same options. An important rule is that you cannot offer cards to someone who has already received an offer in the round, nor to the starting player. The last player in line must either accept or refuse. The round ends, the first player token rotates, and everyone draws until they have five cards again. Oh, and a set of 1, 2, and 3 cards in front of you earns a 10-point bonus! Get ready to bluff and deduce a lot in this fast-paced and fun game!
