Welcome to a city where corruption and greed reign, and power is about to change hands! In Complots, you take on the role of a cunning character trying to rise to power amidst intrigue and manipulation. With a lean 24-card deck, each representing a character with unique abilities – like the Duke who hoards coins, the Assassin who eliminates rivals, the Contessa who defends against attacks, the Captain who steals resources, the Ambassador who manipulates cards, and the Inquisitor who investigates secrets – the goal is to be the last one to keep your characters hidden. Each turn is a dance of bluffing and deduction: you can use your characters' actions (even if you don't actually have them!) or opt for general actions like gaining coins, seeking foreign aid, or launching a coup. The twist? Your opponents can challenge your actions. If you can't prove your identity, you lose influence (flip a card face-up). If both your cards are flipped, you're out! But if you prove you told the truth, the challenger loses influence. With quick games lasting about 15 minutes and accommodating up to 8 players, Complots is perfect for those who enjoy social deduction, bluffing, and rapid eliminations, where smooth talking and boldness are worth more than cards in hand.

How many players does Complots support?
Complots is super flexible, playable by 2 to 8 people. It works well at almost any count, but truly shines with a larger group!
How long does a game take?
Get ready for lightning-fast games! A round of Complots usually takes about 15 minutes to finish. Perfect for fitting in anytime.
Is it a difficult game to learn?
Not at all! The basic rules are quite simple, and you'll get the hang of it in a few minutes. The challenge lies in deceiving others and reading their intentions.
What happens if I get eliminated?
If both your character cards are flipped face-up, you're out of the game. But don't worry, the game is so quick you can jump into the next one as soon as it's over!
Are there any expansions or variations?
There are some additional character cards that can be mixed into the main deck for extra spice, but the base game already delivers plenty of fun.
Who is Complots recommended for?
It's ideal for those who enjoy social games, bluffing, and trying to guess what others are hiding. Great for playing with friends who don't mind being deceived (or deceiving!).
