Get ready for an adventure in feudal Japan, where King Enma has vanished and the throne is vacant! In Night Parade of a Hundred Yokai, forgotten demigod clans, each with their unique abilities, step onto the scene, ready to battle for control of the islands. Your mission is to assemble the most efficient night parade, summoning new yokai (supernatural creatures from Japanese folklore) to spread your influence. Each round, you activate one of your parades to send your yokai meeples to haunt the islands. They move, collect resources, and, of course, battle rival yokai. As soon as an island accumulates a certain number of yokai, the inhabitants build a shrine to 'pacify' them, sending your meeples back to your player area — but not before securing your influence. The game is a strategic race: the first player to have five shrines in play triggers the end of the game. After a final round for the others, victory points are revealed via secret cards, and the winner is crowned. It's a strategy game with plenty of interaction, where the modular board ensures each game is a unique experience, and the asymmetric clan powers bring incredible replayability.
