About the game
What you do in a play session
Hey everyone! Get ready for an unforgettable night in Nightshift, a thematic game that puts you in the shoes of a strip club dancer. Inspired by the creator's real-life experiences, the game offers an authentic and empowering view of this profession, steering clear of clichés. You choose one of five dancers, each with her unique way of charming customers, and the goal is simple: earn as much money as possible by the end of the shift. But be careful, competition is real, and interfering with another dancer's customer can sour your night!
Using your action points, you'll navigate the club, discovering customers with varying levels of wealth and loyalty, each with their preferences and potential outcomes. Choose wisely who to approach! Interacting with customers involves rolling dice, which, combined with your abilities, power cards, and a few drinks, will dictate what happens. Oh, and drinks are strategic: champagne to extend time in the private or VIP room, and shots to give them that little push. Getting a customer successfully to the private room, or even better, the VIP room, initiates a super thematic 'push-your-luck' challenge. The goal is to maximize your earnings from the customer without breaking the illusion, whether through dance moves in the private room or deepening your connection in the VIP room, all to make the customer fall in love. Watch out for the Full Moon, it can trigger strange events! And don't forget your stage schedule; missing your performance means a fine and fewer tips and power cards. These cards, by the way, add an extra layer of strategy: will you help your fellow dancers, or will you play dirty to secure your own success?
