About the game
Prepare for the flood! In Noah, you're tasked with helping Noah himself load as many animals as possible onto his ark before the waters rise. Each round begins with you and your friends holding eight animal cards. Five ferries are arranged in a circle, and a special ferry, where Noah stands, is where the action unfolds. Your job is to play an animal card onto this ferry, but be careful! There are two golden rules: the total weight of animals on the ferry cannot exceed 21, and the animals must follow a gender order (alternating or all the same). After placing an animal, you move Noah to another ferry, and the gender of the animal you played influences where he goes. If the ferry gets crowded or you can't legally play a card, you'll have to take the animals from that ferry back into your hand and try again. But that's not all! If you play an animal of the same species as one already on the ferry, you get an extra turn – a great chance to speed up boarding or mess with opponents. And if you manage to bring the ferry's weight to exactly 21, it sails off to the ark, freeing up space for a new one and even letting you distribute unwanted cards to opponents. Some cards feature special animals, like the giraffe that peeks at an opponent's hand or the woodpecker that reduces the ferry's maximum weight. The round ends when someone runs out of cards or four ferries are sent off. After three rounds, the player with the fewest penalty points (represented by Noah's tears on leftover cards) is the big winner. Noah is a quick and fun game, perfect for those who enjoy hand management and planning moves with a touch of interaction.
