About the game
Get ready for an icy celebration in Penguin Party! After a long winter, penguins decide to celebrate the sunshine by building amazing pyramids to go fishing. The goal? Get rid of all your cards as quickly as possible while helping to construct this wacky structure. The deck has 36 penguin cards in five colors: 8 green and 7 of each of the other colors (red, blue, yellow, and purple). Cards are dealt out quite evenly among players. On your turn, you can add a penguin to the base of the pyramid, which can be up to eight cards wide, or place it on a higher level, as long as it's supported by two penguins below, and at least one of them is the same color as the card you're playing. If your hand is full and you can't make any plays, here come the penalties! You discard everything and take negative score markers. But don't worry, if you manage to empty your hand, you can get rid of two of those markers. The game continues for several rounds, with each player starting one. In the end, whoever has the fewest penalty markers is the big winner of this penguin party. It's a fast-paced game that requires a bit of planning to avoid accumulating unwanted cards, but it's super accessible for the whole family.
