In Nova Luna, an abstract tile-laying game, the new moon symbolizes a fresh start and the perfect opportunity to plan your future. Players are challenged to develop strategies each round, using the Moon Wheel to select new tiles and expand their personal board. The goal is to be the first to complete all of your tasks, marking them with your tokens.
Each tile chosen from the Moon Wheel not only joins your collection but also presents new tasks. To complete these, you need to place tiles of specific colors adjacent to the corresponding tasks. Interestingly, a single tile can satisfy multiple color requirements for various tasks, even if the supporting tiles are not all directly adjacent to the task tile, as long as they form a contiguous group.
A crucial element is the time-track-based turn order system: each tile has a 'time' cost that advances your marker on the track. Whoever is 'furthest back' on the track plays again, meaning choosing high-cost tiles might give you fewer turns, but low-cost tiles can give you more action opportunities. This mechanic encourages clever planning, allowing you to complete multiple tasks simultaneously and optimize your turns. Nova Luna is an invitation to become a master of planning and execution in an engaging and strategic challenge.

How does the turn order work on the Moon Wheel?
Turn order is determined by a time track: the player whose marker is 'furthest back' on the track plays. This makes you think carefully whether it's worth taking an expensive tile (which advances you a lot) or a cheap one (which gives you more turns).
