About the game
What you do in a play session
Hey everyone! Ready for another trip to the Moon? In 'One False Step Home,' we return to the wacky universe of 'One False Step For Mankind,' where wealthy towns competed to reach the natural satellite. This time, the mission is to bring folks back to Earth, with the help of the friendly (and perhaps slightly sinister) Moon Men.
This expansion brings a new lunar board with some changes that will make the game more dynamic. Forget the old rocket systems and 'Know-how.' The approach is different now: you'll buy smaller rockets and can launch several of them per turn. Each successful launch earns you influence chips, and each passenger on board counts as an extra point. The goal remains to accumulate influence, but the way to get there has changed.
One of the great twists is that Moon Caves now produce people, adding a new strategic layer to your space race. And the best news? The playtime, which could previously drag on for three hours, is now around two hours. Perfect for those who enjoy a fierce competition without dedicating the whole day. If you already enjoy the base game and want to spice up your sessions, this expansion is a great choice to bring freshness and a different dynamic to your collection.
