ONUS!: Traianus

Traianus is your passport to the past! This is a historical wargame that puts you in command of ancient armies, simulating intense combat with a miniatures game feel, but using cards. Get ready to relive or even rewrite history between the 1st and 2nd centuries AD, at the height of the Roman Empire.

In ONUS! Traianus, each game is a unique and unpredictable experience, thanks to a dynamic system of action cards that dictate orders and battle events. This ensures that every confrontation is epic and full of twists. Units are represented by detailed cards, scaled to represent centuries, maniples, or even elephants, with formations of 80 to 100 men for infantry, 20 cavalrymen for cavalry, or 6 elephants. Each unit has its own attributes, such as melee combat, ranged attack, defensive capacity, morale, and life, as well as movement capacity. These attributes receive bonuses and penalties depending on the combat situation, which requires a good deal of strategy.

Furthermore, units possess unique skills – from defensive formations to devastating attack tactics. Some of these skills need to be activated, allowing only one per engagement, while others are inherent. The General's figure is crucial, representing their HQ and escort, and granting vital bonuses to nearby units, boosting morale and offering additional advantages in the bloodiest moments of battle. For full immersion, a generous play area is recommended, preferably 100 x 90 cm, so your legions can march and fight with the glory they deserve!
