About the game

What you do in a play session

Imagine being an elite art patron with a secret: you're operating in the shadows of occupied France during WWII. In Operation F.A.U.S.T., the goal isn't to win the war with tanks, but to ensure the world's most valuable masterpieces end up in your private collection via the black market. While the Third Reich's looting units rush to plunder everything in sight, you and other independent patrons must be even craftier.

The gameplay is pure tension and psychological warfare. You'll perform actions to gather intelligence on where treasures are hidden, but beware: bluffing is your primary tool and your greatest risk. You can try to deceive others about what you know, but if you're caught in a lie, you might lose all your hard-earned intel. The game demands an elephant's memory to track where valuable pieces are placed and sharp hand management to avoid wasting resources.

The real twist lies in the hidden values. Not every artwork is what it seems; you might end up with a forgery or something labeled 'degenerate' that is easily confiscated. Victory goes to the first player to reach $1,000,000 in black market value. It's a high-stakes game where deduction and 'take that' mechanics drive the pace. If you enjoy games with constant interaction where a poker face is essential to winning, get your best bluffing face ready and good luck with the operation!
