Ever experienced the madness of a coffee shop during rush hour? Well, Order Overload: Cafe puts you and your friends right in the middle of that chaos! But don't worry, you aren't competing to see who is the best barista; instead, you're working together to keep the shop from going under. This is a fast-paced cooperative memory game that will test just how sharp your brain can stay while trying to serve customers.
The gameplay is snappy and very straightforward. At the start of a round, a set of order cards is dealt face up and read aloud so everyone is on the same page regarding what needs to be made. Then, the real challenge begins: these cards are dealt face down to the players. Now, it's crunch time. On your turn, you must correctly name an order that is currently held in another player's hand. If you blank out and can't remember, you're eliminated from the game! It is a constant test of mental focus, where one person's slip-up can affect the whole team.
To win and advance to the next level, the group must collectively reveal a required number of drinks before everyone is eliminated. As you progress, the levels get tougher, demanding elephant-like memory and flawless teamwork. It is the perfect game for those looking for something light, quick, and capable of generating laughs (and a bit of tension) among friends. If you enjoy card games that require focus without demanding hours of your evening, this coffee is served!
