About the game
Orichalcum places you at the heart of a miniature Greek island, where each player has their own board to explore, conquer, and defend. The pace is tight: each turn you pick an exploration tile that reveals new areas and an action that could be: recruiting hoplites, producing the legendary orichalcum, erecting buildings that grant powerful bonuses, or confronting the monsters that infest your territory. Tension rises as you realize every choice can open or close paths to victory. The ultimate goal? Reach five victory points while clearing your island of all monsters. To do that, you’ll need to build majestic temples, forge orichalcum tokens, and win the favor of titans by creating areas of their favorite landscapes. The game blends action‑drafting, dice‑rolling, racing, and tile‑placement mechanics, all within a 45‑to‑60‑minute playtime. The mythological vibe, with Greek gods and Atlantean legends, adds extra flair to the strategic challenge. Orichalcum is perfect for fans of quick 4X, tactical decisions, and a touch of classic fantasy.
