About the game

What you do in a play session

Oriflamme: Ablaze is the fiery sequel to the award-winning Oriflamme, cranking up the French throne dispute to new heights. With the king dead, you and your rivals — heads of noble houses — use hidden cards to gather influence, cheat, and sabotage each other. Gameplay is straightforward: each turn, you either play a card face-down into the battle line or reveal one already there, triggering its effects. Cards have unique abilities, from scoring points to eliminating opponents, and the order they’re revealed is critical. The game is fast (20 minutes), but every decision matters — can you bluff well enough to outmaneuver others? The 11 new cards in Ablaze add more chaos and strategy, usable standalone or mixed with the base game. Perfect for fans of cutthroat interaction and medieval-themed skullduggery.
