About the game
What you do in a play session
Ever thought about carrying an entire universe inside your notebook? Paper Apps: Galaxy delivers exactly that with its addictive, tiny-scale concept! You play as a pilot lost in an unknown galactic sector, and your sole mission is to find your way back home. But don't expect a smooth ride through the stars; space is a pretty dangerous place!
The game works as a procedurally generated notebook. Each page you turn represents a new sector of the galactic map waiting to be explored. Using nothing but paper, a pencil, and dice, you'll draw lines through hexes, carefully managing your fuel levels. One wrong move and you could crash into an asteroid field, hit a space mine, or end up in the crosshairs of enemy ships.
Resource management is what separates a legendary pilot from space debris. You'll need to keep a close eye on your shields and missiles, as they are strictly limited, and scavenge for supplies to stay operational. As you travel, you can use earned credits and scavenged parts to upgrade your ship—making it faster or more combat-ready—or aim for prestige instead. The ultimate goal? Track down all six missing warp cores scattered across the galaxy and make your triumphant jump back home. It's a quick, punchy experience, perfect for short breaks, but it demands real tactical thinking to avoid drifting forever in the void!
