About the game

What you do in a play session

Sharpen your pencil and brace yourself, because *Book of Dungeon* invites you to a solo dungeon-crawling adventure that's pure nostalgia and challenge! Inspired by the hit *Bag of Dungeon*, this gamebook is the perfect blend of puzzle and fantasy RPG, all in a super portable format. Forget screens and complicated setups: all you need is a pencil, a pair of dice (or the ones printed in the book itself), and the will to face 100 deadly dungeons. Imagine yourself drawing your path, dodging traps, slaying monsters, and hunting for treasure, all under the (slightly sarcastic) gaze of Frederick Pinewhistle Thicket, your gnome mentor. Each dungeon is a self-contained puzzle, where your choices and the luck of the dice determine your fate. You'll create your hero from 11 fantastic options – elves, wizards, dwarves, and more – generating attributes and skills with no fuss. Each turn, roll the dice to place floor tiles in the dungeon, drawing them as you explore. The goal? Survive, retrieve the Ring, and confront the Red Dragon at the exit. The difficulty progressively increases, and each successful escape earns you a score to beat. It's the roguelike fantasy experience on paper, perfect for playing anywhere: planes, trains, or the comfort of your home. A unique combination of strategy, luck, and scribbled creativity!
