About the game

What you do in a play session

In Pax Pamir, players assume the role of 19th century Afghan leaders attempting to forge a new state after the collapse of the Durrani Empire. The game is a straightforward tableau builder, where players purchase cards from a central market and play them in a row called a court. Gameplay involves buying and playing cards, which add units to the game's map and grant access to additional actions. Players can interfere with each other directly and indirectly, and must form coalitions to survive. The game ends when a player can achieve a lead of four or more victory points or after the fourth and final Dominance Check.
