Get ready for an epic duel in Pillars of Fate, a two-player card game that transports you to the Veiled Fate universe. Here, strategy is everything! You and your opponent will face off across three lanes, where each of you tries to influence the outcome of 'quests'. The trick? Winning isn't always the best path! Sometimes, letting your opponent win a quest can be the masterstroke, depending on the rewards. Each quest has two possible outcomes: gaining or losing points, determined by the card suits and icons played. To add an extra layer of mystery, one of your cards in each lane is played face-down, allowing for bluffing and deduction. To top it off, each player commands three 'Divine Beings' with unique abilities that can turn the tide at the right moment. Use these abilities wisely, as each can only be used once per round. The game lasts for three rounds, and whoever accumulates the most points by the end claims victory. It's a quick, tactical showdown full of twists, perfect for those who enjoy card games with a touch of bluffing and area control.
