About the game

What you do in a play session

In Pocket Rockets, each player steps into the boots of an eager astronaut, ready to construct their very own rockets! The game unfolds on a circular 'assembly plant' formed by six special cards. Astronaut pawns move along this circle, and at each stop, you get to choose a different action to perform. The options are quite diverse: you can pick up a face-up card (which might be a rocket base, fuselage, or tip, in one of three available colors), add a part to your rocket in progress, collect fuel tokens for that extra 'oomph', or even change the direction of rotation on the rondel, just to mess with your opponents' plans! Some rocket tips are super special and grant unique privileges, so keep an eye out for them. And here's a strategic twist: the first fuel you collect is more valuable than the last, so timing is everything! The space race concludes when the fuel reserves are depleted. That's when it's time to compare the most complete rockets: whoever has the most fuselages on their assembled rocket blasts off to victory!
