About the game

What you do in a play session

In Poseidon's Kingdom, you're on a mission to rescue your friends who've been captured by the villainous Hans the Kraken! The goal is clear: dive into the ocean depths, free your pals, and maybe take care of the Kraken. Oh, and there's a shark lurking around too... just to add to the excitement!

The game features a unique 'wave' mechanic that launches dice across the board in a chaotic and fun way. On your turn, you decide whether to improve your abilities by taking an action tile or place your dice onto the wave. When the wave is full, it rolls and scatters up to 15 dice randomly across the board. Afterward, you move one of your two creatures on the main board, trying to collect the dice you need. With these dice, you can either store them on your action tiles for later use or form combinations of 2-4 dice to earn victory points. But beware! The shark moves according to the space your creature landed on, and if it catches you, you lose action spaces with 'skeletons'. The second edition introduced the dolphin, making your creatures immune to the shark. The player with the most victory points at the end wins this underwater adventure!
