About the game
Get ready, because it's Morphin' Time! In Power Rangers: Deck-Building Game, the eternal struggle between good and evil comes to life in a strategic and asymmetrical duel. On one side, the heroes are fighting to save the day; on the other, the villains are plotting world domination. The goal is straightforward but requires tactical cunning: reduce the opposing team's hit points to zero to claim victory.

The heart of the game lies in deck building. During your turn, you play cards to generate two essential resources: shards and energy. You use shards to acquire more powerful cards for your deck or to face adversaries for valuable rewards. Energy, on the other hand, is the fuel for your most impactful actions. The combat dynamics are direct: use attack cards to strike your opponent and, when the tide turns, use block cards to minimize the damage taken.

But be careful, because the game is relentless! At the end of each round, after performing end-of-turn actions and discarding used cards, you still take damage for every adversary present in 'The Grid'. This creates constant pressure, forcing players to balance acquiring new cards with the urgent need to clear the battlefield. After this process, you refill your hand to five cards and prepare for the next round.

Whether you're a nostalgic fan of the series or someone who enjoys deck-building games with tactical combat, the experience delivers a satisfying sense of progression: you start with basic cards and end with a devastating arsenal. The asymmetry between heroes and villains ensures that each match feels different, as the paths to victory vary depending on the side you choose. Who will have the right strategy to crush the competition?

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the game complex? Do I need to be a board game expert?
You don't need to be an expert, but since it's an asymmetrical deckbuilder, it takes a few minutes to get into the rhythm. If you've played something like Dominion, you'll feel at home quickly.
How long does a game last?
It varies between 30 to 70 minutes. If players are decisive with their attacks, the game flows quickly; if they prefer building perfect decks, it takes a bit longer.
Can I play it solo?
The base game is focused on competitive play (1-2 vs 1-2), but there are expansions that add solo play capabilities.
Is the game balanced between heroes and villains?
Yes, although they play differently (asymmetry), both have the same chance of victory, only the strategy to get there changes.
Who do you recommend this game for?
For Power Rangers fans, fans of competitive card games, and groups who enjoy seeing their character's 'power' grow during the match.
