Get ready to dive into the eternal battle between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance in Star Wars: The Deckbuilding Game! This two-player card game puts you in command of one of the factions, where your goal is simple yet challenging: destroy three of your opponent's bases. Each turn, you and your adversary will upgrade your starting decks, which are unique to each side of the Force. The central board displays six 'galaxy' cards, with Rebel cards facing the Rebel player, Imperial cards facing the Imperial player, and neutral cards accessible to both. Spend your resources to acquire new cards for your deck or use your attack power to destroy opponent's cards and gain rewards. Each player starts with a basic base, but upon its destruction, you choose a new base from your personal deck, each with a special ability that can turn the tide of the game. Choose wisely to counter your rival's plans! Furthermore, capital ships can absorb damage to protect your bases, and the struggle for control of the Force track can yield extra resources or activate powerful abilities on your cards. It's a fast-paced deckbuilder, with lots of interaction and tactical decisions that will make you feel like a true galactic commander!
