What you do in a play session

Powerships is a space racing game where you pilot a ship through the solar system. The goal is to pass three space buoys and be the first to reach the final planet. The modular board allows for different solar system configurations, with 662 hexagonal spaces around the sun, planets, and space dust areas. The dice rolling mechanic uses three-sided dice to simulate acceleration and deceleration. At the start of each turn, you can adjust your speed by adding or removing a die, and choose which dice to reroll. Before moving, you can rotate your ship left or right. The ship moves according to the sum of the numbers on the dice, but beware of obstacles like planets and space dust, which can cause damage and reduce your speed. Other ships may block your path, but they can also be used as 'springboards' to reach desired spaces. Special spaces allow extra moves, like doubling speed or moving over or under obstacles.
