Queenz: To Bee or Not to Bee

In Queenz: To Bee or Not to Bee, you step into the shoes of a beekeeper tasked with cultivating the most vibrant fields to produce the country's most prized honey. The goal is straightforward: attract as many bees as possible and, naturally, rack up the victory points (VP) that come with this sweet endeavor.

On your turn, the gameplay branches into two main choices. First: collect new flower tokens from the garden. You can grab one token of any kind, two of the same kind, or three different colors. Store them carefully in your warehouse, as they'll be crucial for the next step. Second option: bloom one of your fields. Select an available field (you can even expand your own cultivation area!) and use the flower tokens you've gathered, along with your hive token, to fill it up. Each flower used in this field earns you 1 VP, and you'll also fill a personal track with a honey jar of the corresponding color. It's a race against time and your fellow beekeepers!

The game ramps up when a player blooms their fifth field, giving everyone one final turn to prove their beekeeping prowess. In the end, bonus points come from your hives: each hive is worth 1 VP for every bee that lands on the eight spaces surrounding it. Whoever has the highest score wins the title of the kingdom's best beekeeper. It's a quick, visually appealing game with a theme that's a joy to play.
