About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready to roll the dice and cross off numbers in Qwixx Deluxe, a souped-up version of the acclaimed dice game! If you enjoy fast-paced games where everyone participates all the time, this edition is for you. Forget paper and pencil; now you have dry-erase boards with markers, making everything more practical and eco-friendly. And the best part? You can play with up to 8 people, significantly more than the original!
The game is simple: each player has a score sheet with numbers in four different colors. On your turn, you roll six dice (two white and one of each color). Everyone can use the sum of the white dice to mark a number on their sheet. If it's your turn, you also have the option to use the sum of a white die and a colored die to mark the corresponding number in that color's row. The goal is to mark as many numbers as possible, always from right to left in each row. The more numbers you mark in a row, the more points you earn. But beware! If you can't mark any number on your turn, you get a penalty. If you complete a row (by marking the 2 or 12 and having at least 5 numbers marked) or if someone accumulates 4 penalties, the game ends, and scoring begins. Whoever has the most points wins!
Qwixx Deluxe also introduces Qwixx Mixx, an extra board on the back of the player sheets, where the colors are mixed up. This adds an extra layer of strategy and forces you to think differently, maintaining the fun and speed everyone loves about Qwixx.
