About the game
What you do in a play session
Hey board game fans! Ready for a medieval dispute full of ambition and towers? In Ramparts, each of you takes on the role of a noble who wants to have the tallest and most powerful tower in the city. But hey, it's not just about building, you know? Since raw materials are a luxury item, the fight will be fierce to steal what others have!
The game revolves around moving counters (there are 20 for each player, with different symbols!) around the board to form these towers. And it doesn't stop there: the formed towers also move to strategic points where you can score. The trick is that whoever places the counter on top of the tower scores for the entire stack. So, pay extra attention to know when to attack and when to defend your block empire!
The game ends when someone has no legal moves left or when any one district of the city is full with eight towers. It's a game that mixes abstract strategy with a touch of city building, where point-to-point movement and tile placement are key to victory. If you enjoy a challenge with little luck and lots of smart decisions, Ramparts might be your next addiction!
