Imagine being an ancient Shaman entrusted with the sacred mission of bringing life back to a world that has been sterile for millennia. In Rauha, you aren't just a witness; you are the architect of a brand-new ecosystem! Your goal is to transform one of five worlds into a vibrant epicenter of life energy, ensuring harmony and serenity for ages to come. To win, you must accumulate the most Life Energy possible, but time is of the essence: you only have two Ages to make this magic happen.
The journey is split into two main phases. In the first Age, you focus on the essentials: making vegetation, terrain, and wildlife flourish. In the second Age, the scale ramps up as civilizations begin to thrive upon the foundation you've built. The gameplay flows through 4 rounds, each consisting of 3 quick turns. The pace is dynamic thanks to simultaneous action selection, which keeps everyone engaged without long waiting periods.
During each turn, you'll strategically manage your player board. You start by collecting Biome cards from the satellite that matches the symbol (moon or star) beneath your Avatar. Then, you decide whether to place that card on a square of your board or discard it into the Black Hole. If you manage to align matching symbols in rows or columns, you receive Divine Entities—a massive boost for your board! Your Avatar also moves along the edge of your board, shifting which row or column gets activated next turn, creating a constant cycle of planning and adaptation. Finally, during the scoring phase, you use Spore tokens to activate your biomes and entities, collecting crystals and victory points. It's a game of pattern building and layering, where every placement decision could be the key to your spiritual triumph!
