Get ready to explore Arzium, a land where the surreal is the norm and the bizarre is everyday life. The catch is that a mysterious sleeping sickness has swept through the region, leaving hundreds of creatures wandering in a deep trance. Your mission? Track down these sleepwalking adventurers, wake them up, and convince them to join your party. The more allies you recruit, the easier it becomes to find those who are still lost.
The game uses a clever system where the board is constructed from the adventurer cards themselves. One side features the character, while the other depicts a landscape split into six squares. To rescue someone, you activate one of your current adventurers by flipping their card face down. This allows you to place search tokens on the board following the specific geometric pattern shown on that adventurer's card. It's almost like a spatial puzzle: you need to fit your search patterns to dominate the area.
Whoever holds the most influence over a landscape once all its squares are filled claims the adventurer card for their party. In addition to points, each new member provides a new search pattern, expanding your tactical options. While searching, you also collect coins, which can be spent on powerful artifacts or special actions that can turn the tide of the game. The race ends when one player manages to gather ten adventurers, but the victory goes to the player with the most points. It's an area control game with a touch of resource management and a lot of visual strategy.
