About the game
What you do in a play session
In Robot Roll & Write, your mission (should you choose to accept it!) is to assemble your own robot over 12 frantic turns. Each player gets their own workstation (the player sheet) to build this mechanical marvel. Throughout the game, you'll add components to your robot's body and, crucially, connect them with circuits to secure maximum points. Every third turn, a new batch of cards is revealed, showing components and circuits – some even featuring a special die! On your turn, you'll roll two dice and use the results to choose the cards you want to use. Need a specific component? Or perhaps a circuit that gives you that edge? The choice is yours! Rolling a 6 gives you free rein to pick any card, but beware: if the card has a second die depicted on it, you'll need that specific die result along with a 6 (or the number of the card's slot on the table). It's a fast-paced game with high replayability, perfect for those who enjoy optimizing every roll and watching their robot take shape.
