About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready for a robotic duel in Robotory! In this abstract strategy game for two players, the goal is simple: have the majority of your robots on your side of the board when the energy runs out. Each turn presents a decision: do you place an energy cube, grab more supplies for your hand (but be careful, only four fit!), or move one of your three robots?

And how do these robots move? They 'eat' energy cubes! Each robot has its preferences: two only like a specific color of energy (black or white), while the third is more versatile and devours any color. To move, the robot advances to a space with energy and consumes it. After the energy is used, you need to replenish your hand by taking more cubes from the common supply.

The game ends when the energy cubes of one color are depleted. Whoever has two or three robots in their control zone wins. It's a fast-paced game, with matches lasting around 15 minutes, requiring planning and anticipation of the opponent's moves. Perfect for those who enjoy direct challenges without much fuss, where every move counts towards territorial conquest. Keep in mind that the 2015 edition, PakuPakuPark, swaps robots for animals and energy for food, but the game's essence remains the same: a strategic and fun showdown!
