About the game
What you do in a play session
In Sator Arepo Tenet Opera Rotas, you step into the shoes of an Acolyte on a critical mission: to retrieve four sacred books scattered throughout a sinister labyrinth. These cursed tomes, filled with arcane secrets and dark magic, are constantly shifting, manipulated by shadowy forces attempting to break the seal that contains chaos. Each turn, you'll use your Action Points to move the labyrinth's mobile platforms, creating safe paths over the abyss. The more you manipulate the walkways, the further you can advance. But don't be fooled, the task is not simple! The modular board changes with every game, and you'll need strategy to anticipate your opponents' moves and reach your books before they do. Faith and knowledge of rituals are your weapons to perform almost impossible feats, like manipulating time and space itself. The first Acolyte to gather the four books of their color will become the new Keeper and save the world from darkness. Prepare for a tense race full of twists and turns!
