About the game

What you do in a play session

After a long journey, you have finally reached the catacombs of Kuth-Aghar, the Shadow King. Armed only with your Sacred Book and its Sigils, will you survive the horrors lurking beneath the earth and put an end to his dark reign? Segnavventura: The Tomb of The Living Shadows is an old-school exploration game that will take several attempts to beat. Using the page numbers and words from the book you’re reading, you’ll explore a vast catacomb filled with secrets, deadly creatures, traps, and treasure. Spend your Treasure to gain Levels and unlock greater powers, or learn arcane Sigils that give you new ways to overcome the horrors lurking in the shadows. Claim powerful Artifacts, defeat spectral colossi, necrotic puppets, carnivorous pits, and more, until you finally stand before Kuth-Aghar, the Shadow King. This is a print-and-play game: print it double-sided on a single A4 sheet, trim the white border, fold it into four sections, and you’re ready to play. All you need is a book, a pencil, and an eraser to embark on this adventure.
