Get ready for an exhilarating journey into the skies of World War II with 'Sentando a Pua,' a game that puts you in the cockpit of legendary fighter planes! Feel the adrenaline rush of intense dogfights, piloting iconic machines like the Italian C202 Folgore or the Brazilian P-47 Thunderbolt. This game, conceived by renowned designer Hugo Bustilho, is an invitation to relive the most thrilling moments of wartime aviation, with impeccable attention to historical detail.
The gameplay is super accessible, even for newcomers to the world of board games. To start, the board is placed in the center of the table, with hit markers within everyone's reach. Each player chooses their airplane, takes their ten maneuver cards, a ten-sided die (D10), and the card corresponding to their chosen aircraft. The objective is clear: shoot down enemy planes and be the last aerial ace standing!
Each turn is a strategic dance in the skies. Players secretly select one of their maneuver cards and place it face down. After everyone has chosen, the cards are revealed simultaneously. The pilot with the lowest initiative is the first to move their plane across the board, following the instructions on the chosen card. If, while moving, an enemy plane enters your sights, you can choose to shoot! If the attack is successful after rolling the D10, the attacked plane receives a hit marker. Accumulate the total number of hits, and your plane is shot down. But beware: if the die roll is higher than the 'vital number' of the opposing plane, it is instantly shot down! So, ready to 'Sit On' the enemy planes?
