About the game
What you do in a play session
The mansion perched on the hill has a reputation for being cursed: at night villagers swear they see shadows moving behind the windows as the house seems to rock and tilt. In Shaky Manor each round is a frantic race against the clock to break the curse. The goal is to be the first to finish five challenges by placing the right items – ghosts, wandering eyes, snakes, spiders and other creepy critters – into a specific room. Cards give you clues about which pieces belong where, but you don’t just move cards – you literally tilt and shake the box so the pieces slide into the correct spot. The game runs in real‑time with no turns, so everyone acts simultaneously, trying to coordinate their moves before time runs out. For 2‑4 players, a game lasts 10‑20 minutes, making it perfect for a quick break or a family game night. The pattern‑building mechanic demands you follow the card instructions, while the dexterity element adds tension and plenty of laughs. With a low weight (1.4/5) the rules are easy, yet watching the box wobble and the objects drop into place creates a fun, spooky atmosphere that’s great for kids and adults who enjoy a hint of horror without being too scary.
