About the game

What you do in a play session

If you are the type who loves a good 'whodunnit' mystery, Sherlock: Don's Legacy will drop you right into the middle of a police investigation in Miami. The game is part of the Q System series, famous for delivering compact and intense detective experiences without needing massive rulebooks. The premise is straightforward: businessman Salvatore Sollai has been found dead, and the police are stumped. It is up to you and your investigative team (or even you alone, if you prefer the solo challenge) to analyze clues, connect the dots, and figure out who was responsible, how the crime happened, and, most importantly, the motive behind it all.

The gameplay is based on hand management. You have a deck of clues and must decide, cooperatively, which information is crucial to the case and which is just irrelevant noise. The twist is the communication limit: you cannot simply show your cards or spill everything you know. You must carefully choose what to reveal to your partners, creating delicious tension as the time (and the deck) runs out. As it is a game of pure deduction, your memory is your best friend; forgetting a crucial detail mentioned early on could be the reason for your failure when answering the final questionnaire.

The game is extremely portable, fitting into any pocket, making it perfect for travel or playing at a café. Like any good mystery story, replayability is limited—after all, once you know the culprit, the secret is out. But honestly? The experience of piecing together the mental puzzle with friends is worth every minute. If you are looking for a quick intellectual challenge with no complex setup and that 'eureka' feeling when you crack the case, this is the right title. Grab your notepad, call your investigative partners, and see if you can outsmart the Miami police and put the culprit behind bars before the case goes cold.
