Get ready to take flight in a journey of commerce and intrigue! In Sky Traders, you command your own skyship with one clear goal: becoming the supreme Master of the Sky Guild. But being a captain is about much more than just piloting; it requires much more than just good reflexes. You'll need to manage your crew carefully, as each new member takes up precious space that could be used to carry valuable goods like spices or jewels. Also, keep a close eye on your fuel (phlogiston!) and your ship's maintenance to avoid being left adrift in the middle of nowhere.
The market is your greatest ally and, at the same time, your biggest rival. Through the Guild Council, you can attempt to manipulate commodity prices to reap huge profits, but be careful: if you anger the other captains too much, they might team up to crash the value of what you're trying to sell. It's a game of constant strategy and diplomacy. And don't forget the unpredictability! The Ill Wind deck can bring anything from hidden treasures to attacks from Wind Pirates or patrols that confiscate your contraband. You'll have to decide between safe routes or the risk of hauling toxic sludge to make some quick cash when things get tight. Between battles, negotiations, and strategic flights, Sky Traders offers a deep experience of management and risk, perfect for those who love a solid logistics and trade challenge.
