About the game
What you do in a play session
If you thought Small World was already chaotic and brimming with options, get ready for more! Small World: Royal Bonus arrives to spice up your board even further with three brand-new races and three special powers that will tie your opponents' brains in knots (and maybe yours too!).
The Fauns bring their connection to nature, the Igors have a bit of a Frankenstein vibe, and the Shrubmen are… well, walking, causing-mayhem shrubs. Each of these groups comes with its own quirks that change the game's dynamics, forcing you to rethink your conquest strategies.
And the powers? Oh, the powers! We have Aquatic, giving you the freedom to invade any water-adjacent area (without fear of drowning!), Behemoth, for those who like to be big and intimidating, and Fireball, which is exactly what it sounds like: a fireball that wreaks havoc. Combining these races and powers is where the magic (and chaotic fun) truly happens.
This mini-expansion, which initially debuted as a bonus for Kickstarter backers of the digital version, is now available for everyone looking to add an extra kick to their Small World games. It's the kind of addition that doesn't reinvent the wheel but adds flavor and variety, ensuring each game remains a surprise. If you enjoy the territory battles and unpredictable fun of Small World, this expansion is a welcome addition to keep the game fresh and exciting.

How long does it take to add this to the game?
Incorporating the new races and powers is quite quick, usually taking just a few minutes to mix everything in and start playing.

Yes! It's perfect for those who want to add extra flavor and more variety to their games, exploring new strategies with the unique combinations it offers.
