Snit Smashing

Get ready for a wild race in Snit Smashing, a game dating back to 1977 where you compete to reproduce the most Snits while smashing your opponents'! Each player controls a tribe of Snits emerging from the sea towards a safe haven, the Snandergrab. Movement is secretly written down and revealed simultaneously, adding a twist of bluffing and surprise. But watch out! The fearsome Bolotomus lurks along the way, ready to smash your Snits on marked 'Smash!' hexes.

Once your Snits reach the haven (or survive long enough), they reproduce, and the journey back to the sea begins, with the Bolotomus still a threat. The game features two reproduction and race rounds, and at the end, the player with the most surviving Snits is the champion. Originally published in The Dragon Magazine #10, with errata in #11, and a revised version in Snits!, this game offers a fast-paced and somewhat random experience, focusing on dice rolls and movement on a hexagonal board.
