About the game
What you do in a play session
In Mole Rats in Space, you're astronaut mole rats trying to escape a snake-infested space station. Working together, you must gather equipment and reach the escape pod before time runs out or the snakes get you. Each turn, a card dictates your actions: move allies, reposition snakes, or even add new threats to the board. Movement follows the classic 'Snakes and Ladders' - climb ladders to advance, but watch out for chutes that might eject you into space (yes, it's instant death). The game plays hardball: get bitten twice, run out of cards, or let a snake escape means game over. For those who find it easy, bonus cards ramp up the challenge after a few wins. Designed by Matt Leacock (of Pandemic fame), it's a quick, tense cooperative perfect for family play or board game newcomers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you buy
Is it good for kids?
Yes! Simple rules and funny theme make it great for ages 6+. Cooperation helps prevent frustration.
How long does a game take?
The advertised 20 minutes is spot-on. Quick turns and constant chaos keep the pace brisk.
Does it need a GM or app?
Not at all! It's 100% self-contained. Cards handle everything, even the snakes' actions.
Is it worth it for adults?
As a filler or casual game, yes. Those seeking strategic depth might find it shallow.
Best player count?
3-4 keeps the chaos balanced. At 2 players, it loses some cooperative charm.
Is there a Portuguese version?
Not officially, but since cards have no text, any edition works.
