About the game

What you do in a play session

Get your whistles ready and adjust your hats, because in Rail Pass, things move fast! In just 10 minutes, you and 1 to 5 friends will have to hustle to deliver as many goods as possible. The mission? Little colored cubes that need to reach their correct destination. The catch? We shuffle everything at the start, and then it's every person for themselves (but working together, of course!).

Each player controls a city and can only grab cubes from the right or left end of the row. Once loaded onto a train – which needs a 'crew member' to move and only goes to the adjacent city – the rush begins. Trains need to swap crews or cargo to reach farther destinations. And hey, be careful not to drop these precious cubes along the way or deliver them to the wrong city, as that incurs penalties! If things get tough, there are tunnels and bridges to make it even more challenging. All of this happens in real-time, with everyone acting simultaneously. In the end, we multiply the two cities with the fewest deliveries to see who did best. It's pure hustle, coordination, and a bit of luck to see if the cargo arrives intact and in the right place. Perfect for those who enjoy fast-paced, cooperative games with a touch of controlled chaos.
