About the game

What you do in a play session

Rumble in the Dungeon is that perfect mix of controlled chaos and shameless bluffing that only a dungeon-themed party game can deliver. You and your friends are adventurers (or thieves, whatever) trying to loot the dead king's treasure, but here's the catch: everyone has two secret characters in the game, and nobody knows who's who! Each turn, you move one of the 12 characters through the dungeon's modular board - it could be yours, it could be others', just to mess with people. The goal? Keep your characters alive as long as possible OR escape with the treasure chest before others do. The game becomes a festival of wrong deductions, obvious bluffs, and random accusations - like Clue, but with more cheating and less formality. When someone finally figures out your character and kicks them out of the dungeon, game over! And the best part: it's so fast you can play multiple rounds, each more chaotic than the last. Integrates with Rumble in the House for even more mayhem!

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers before you buy

5 questions
Ideal player count?
Best with 4 to 6 - fewer loses the fun chaos, more than 6 might get too hectic.
Kid-friendly?
Yes! Rules are simple, but very young kids might struggle with strategic bluffing.
How long does a game take?
It claims 20 minutes and delivers - really quick! But you'll want to play multiple rounds.
Do I need Rumble in the House to play?
No, they're standalone, but combine well if you want more character and scenario variety.
Is it too luck-dependent?
There's luck, but bluffing and deduction skills matter more. Hardcore strategists might find it too random.
