HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Get ready for an artistic and bluff-filled adventure in A Fake Artist Goes to New York, a super fun party game for 5 to 10 players! The premise is simple, but the execution is hilarious: a Question Master chooses a theme and writes that word on cards for most artists. But one player receives only an 'X' — they are the fake artist! The goal of the real artists is to draw the theme in a way that everyone understands, but without giving too many clues to the impostor. The fake artist, on the other hand, needs to pretend they know what they're drawing, contributing strokes that seem to make sense, without revealing they have no idea what the theme is. You take turns, each adding a single continuous stroke to the collective drawing. After two rounds of drawing, voting begins: who is the fake artist? If the impostor is caught and cannot guess the theme, the real artists score points. But if the fake artist goes unnoticed, or if they are caught but manage to guess the theme, they and the Question Master score points. It's a delicate dance between communicating and hiding, where every line on the paper can be a clue or a distraction. The game comes with colored pens, a whiteboard marker, reusable cards, and a pad of paper, all in a compact box. Perfect for livening up any gathering!
