What you do in a play session
Dive into the "Fathomless Mud Of The Swamp," an expansion introducing a new spirit to the Spirit Island universe! This entity thrives on Sacred Sites where Invaders love to build, but don't be fooled – it can recreate these sites after oozing outwards with its Innate Power. In smaller games, this spirit can effectively cut off the most inland lands from Explore actions by destroying existing Towns/Cities and preventing new ones from being built. Expect a fair bit of Fear generation, much of which represents unpleasantness, hardship, and disgust for the invaders. One of its key strengths is its low complexity, making it a great choice for newcomers to Spirit Island or those seeking a more straightforward playstyle. This is the same spirit included in "Horizons of Spirit Island," but here it's published on its own. If you enjoy the idea of controlling swamps and causing havoc for the invaders, this spirit is for you!
